I looked down at my arms to see a rash spreading out from the inside of both of my elbows. The longer I looked, the worse it got as my skin started to boil and pop and the rash spread. The bubbles started becoming more dense as the skin around the crease slowly turned purple.

My brother and I were taking turns playing a videogame and we were stuck on a mission where you had to evade the police in a single-person copter. After failing again, he handed me the controller for the last time and said I could try as many times as I wanted as he needed to tend to his daughter.

I was scrolling through Netflix on the couch, looking for something to watch. I eventually settled on an anime titled “The First Maxim of China”.

I was playing against my brother in Smash Brothers as Ike against his Ken on Final Destination. We were both on our last stock but the match was taking forever as we kept getting back onto the stage.

I had lost contact with my dad among the commotion when we had to run from some government officials. I walked along a path under a temple when my phone rang. They had hung up before I could answer the call and none of my redials went through.

I was looking around the crowded hall for the restroom when I realized that the line for it had already trailed all the way down the stairs from the floor above. With no other choice, I stepped into the back of the line. The line was slow moving as I got to take a step up the stairs every couple of minutes. When I had finally reached the second floor, the line in front of me suddenly dissipated. Soon after I was the first in line for the restroom.

A storm had been raging all night. As the sun rose, I peeked out of the window to see that our house was now at the edge of a cliff over the sea. Not long afterwards, the soil beneath the house began to move. The erosion quickly accelerated and the house went sliding down. I told everyone in the house to hold onto something as I ran into the bathroom and considered seeking shelter in the bathtub.

I was told that the cleaners were underground so I took the elevator to the basement. I fumbled with the buttons and managed to press 1, B1, and B2. When I finally got to my floor, I walked straight ahead through the underground mall. I knew that the storefront was supposed to be under the other apartment building so I went forward with that in mind.

I was playing a zombie build in Path of Exile and was waiting for my party members to kill Dominus together. After waiting for half a minute, I realized that no one was behind me and that they were already in the boss room. I got to the fight late and when it was over, he dropped missed quest items along with forks and spoons. I picked up the cutlery and handed them over to someone sitting at a table.

I was reading a local Portland newspaper about how a nearby school no longer allowed children to play outside anymore. Apparently multiple people had been throwing rocks into the playground from the street and parents had reported that their children were coming home bleeding and bruised. It wasn’t as simple as catching the perpetrators as seemingly unrelated strangers would all engage in the activity as if it was some sort of behavioral epidemic.
