We were continuing our ongoing project in the science lab from last week. I was still annoyed at my lab partner for having done none of the work when we last met. Our task this week involved making thin sheets of plastic clay on a tray. This was done by setting a large block of clay on some baking paper and slowly kneading it outwards until in was thin enough. We were running out of time and we still needed to bake the sheets in the oven.

All of the classes took place in one building and each class occupied a different floor. I ran up and down the building in search for my next class but I didn’t have any luck finding the right floor. One of the floors was the library and a class was currently in session. The instructor had a microphone and the lecture was being broadcasted throughout the entire library. It was a mix of a linguistics and literature class. They were assigning the class to close read something before their next meeting. They gave a broad definition for what qualified and accepted watching a movie or a series on Netflix. They explicitly excluded memes however, saying that the material had to be in “full format”. I slightly regretted the fact that I had not come earlier to hear the first half of the lecture as I sat on the stairs looking down.

The three of us were hiding inside of a house in the middle of a deserted lot. It was dark out and we were being tracked down by a reptile shapeshifter. It had currently assumed the form of a large T. Rex and was stomping around the perimeter of the house. We decide to split up with the reasoning that if it had swiped at the house from the outside, we wouldn’t all be caught by it.

It was before dinner and a student visitor that I was hosting had arrived. They informed me about a pair of partner worksheets that they were assigned to fill out with the host (myself).

I was helping someone film a commercial in the middle of an open marketplace. They were walking backwards on the cobblestone road under midday sun. They held up a glass and filled it halfway with milk from a plastic jug. They explained, in their military uniform, how mass produced beverages were better than homemade juice due to its cost efficiency. This was when they poured the rest of the gallon of milk into the cup as it overflowed.

She was a regular at the place we got lunch and ordered the 2-2. I got the number 6. As I walked out of the store, I realized that they had played a different song just for us.

It was the new semester and I had somehow managed to get assigned with the same two roommates again. I found myself rather attracted to one of them for quite some time and thought about asking them if they wanted to sleep together when we were standing in the doorway but I held my tongue.

I was laying on the couch at my uncle’s place. My laptop was on so I looked up to make sure I didn’t have anything embarrassing open. It was late in the afternoon and my parents said I should head home first. I got off the couch and walked towards the front door before laying down on the floor by the shoes. I stayed in that position for a while before getting up again and walking out the door.

We were chatting in the kitchen when she asked why I recorded my dreams. She seemed to imply I was doing it for some kind of enlightenment when I told her it was just something I did for fun. She continued to ask me about my past relationships which I wasn’t too eager to discuss. She brought up a time I had engaged in biblical roleplay before I had ever read any of the bible.

My dad was trying to find a shortcut to get to the other side of the city. We followed him through various back alleys and through numerous shops that for some reason had their back doors open. We eventually stumbled into a strip club and my dad was already walking up the stairs. I told him that I was pretty sure there wasn’t going to be an way out up there. I turned my head around and briefly locked eyes with an old friend who was sitting on one of the couches. I hurriedly continued onward.
