I was searching up porn in the computer lab when a classmate rolled up behind me and asked to distract the teacher by walking out of the room. I got out of my seat and walked out the door and decided that I would take a walk around the school building.

It was Christmas and my uncle videocalled my phone because everyone else in the house was too busy to pick up theirs. He wished us a Merry Christmas as I struggled to prop up the phone at the right height on the coffee table.

I had fallen asleep in the car and my dad asked me to use my phone to find our way back home. I turned on the navigation system which proceeded to direct us to make a U-turn on the highway. I started scrolling through my Discord messages to find that “I” had been sending messages that I had no recollection of. My first thought was that I had somehow ended up in an alternate timeline.

Our house was in the middle of a field and we were defending it from some kind of robot invasion. I picked up a shield and ran towards one of the turrets that was shooting at us. When I got close, I managed to take it out with a combination of gunshots and shield-bashing.

Over the past 10 days, we had been working on how to extract memories from brains. We had three brains on the table and I was in the middle of trying to hook up speakers to certain lobes.

For some reason I found myself rewatching BrodyQuest. Someone commented that it was “not ironic enough” for the current day and age.

My dad commented on how everyone my age was out pursuing their own interests while I was staying at home. He made an off-hand remark about how I must’ve been “put together wrong”.

They had hired a man who had been brainwashed to be a journalist for the sake of a reality show. He had not been given information of the outside world for years with the intent of seeing what kinds of news articles he would write. Anyone who tried to leak the truth to him had their memories wiped.

I was playing a shield throw build in Path of Exile that was also stacking strength.

My mother was driving my brother and me through the rice fields. However she wasn’t watching the road as she accelerated and nearly crashed into into a rack of plates for sale in the middle of the road. The car stopped just as it tapped the wooden rack. We backed up with increasing speed so she could point out another store that we had passed by earlier.
