I was playing one of those mass attack games in Starcraft. It was a 5v4 and the majority of my forces were Dragoons and Zealots. The fifth person on our team wasn’t really playing though.

I was in charge of cooking dinner tonight. I was thinking about how I might have chopped up more veggies than I needed for stir-fry when all of a sudden the stove hood and the microwave collapsed onto the stove top. I couldn’t reach the knobs for the stove anymore and I had to strain my hand just to be able to stir the pan. Dry rice noodles from the cupboard above the stove also fell into the pan. I hadn’t meant to make stir-fried noodles but I just went with it.
The three of us were having a conversation about the parallels between fashion design and culinary arts. I mentioned how a master of either had to balance form and function. I lazily rolled over to my left to find that the person sitting there had gotten much closer to me than I remembered. Right after we made eye contact, she turned around and straddled me. She slowly lowered herself onto me before suddenly getting up and running out the door.
I had barely woken up and my parents asked me if I wanted to go to Taitung with them. In my half-asleep state I turned down the offer. I watched my family walk out of the door from the floor I was laying on. I was now alone in our house.
I was following the crowd in the train station with a pillow and blanket in my arms. I looked down the escalator with no desire to try to push through the sea of people below.
My brother and I were on our way to a wedding that was being held at a chapel that I kept mistakenly calling a cathedral. We were cross a bridge when we started to talk about genetics.
I was thinking about diving into the pool as we sat by the waterfall. “Are there any sharp objects in the water?” I asked. They said it depended on what kind of grasses were growing under the surface.
I was in the supermarket with all of my groceries in the basket. I was considering getting a snack as well so I wandered up and down the aisles until I got to the breakfast cereal section. I ended up choosing a box of cereal that had Oreo bits and dried strawberries. It wasn’t until I was paying at the checkout counter that I realized I had made a mistake. The total due was a little over $110.
The advertisement for the dating app highlighted that a low number of its users had been blocked. The built-in reporting system had some pretty strict consequences and users only got a couple of chances before being permanently banned from the app.
The airport was walking distance from my brother’s place. However, I was afraid that I would miss my flight anyways because I hadn’t stepped out of the door until an hour before departure. I walked up to the check-in counter and told them I was going to Portland, with a transfer at [xxx]. They commented on how London was kind of far. I quickly realized the mix up and said I was going to the Portland in Oregon.
