I was playing mahjong and I had ended up with a bunch of extra tiles with nothing to call. I somehow even had an extra haku. The game was moving so slowly that tiles kept accumulating in my hand.

My uncle asked me if I was going to Taitung any time soon. I said that if I did I wouldn’t be able to return due to visa issues. My dad suggested just going and to trust that my permit would be ready by the time I returned. I repeated to them that estimates for documentation was 200 days and the last time it said 60 it still took about a month.
