I was back in Taiwan for the winter and my mom kept asking me how I got my bike. I told her that it was just in the garage the whole time and seemed to be in usable shape. Apparently my dad had just recently bought a new bike but had to install the separately sold wheels by himself. I got onto the bike for a test ride although the seat was a little low.

I heard my grandma calling out for me and I walked into a clothing store to see her between the clothes racks. Her eyes lit up upon seeing me and she ran over for a hug, almost knocking me over.

I walked into the mall with the rest of my family when my brother suggested heading into the electronics store to use their restroom. “Wanna join?” he asked me. I decided to wait outside of the store while the rest of them went in. After everyone came back out, we decided to take a group selfie in front of the store.

My friend and I were planning to get onto the train after eating. We sat down at a sushi place in the transit station that overlooked the tracks. I felt like I had already been here for an unknown number of days. I wondered if I had even been sleeping in a bed. Apparently I had missed a tabletop campaign that my friend was organizing. He suggested that next time I should bring a cot with me.

We walked into a library where there was currently an exhibition in the lobby about the history of Sonic games through the decades. I had no real knowledge about the franchise but could tell quite a bit of work had gone into the displays for something relatively niche for a random library.

I was playing as the Engineer in TF2 and carrying my Dispenser around the map in an attempt to catch up to the control points being captured. The fight was moving too quickly for me set up all my buildings and when I did put down a Sentry Gun, it was placed too high to get a good angle of the space below.

It was early in the morning when I saw my neighbor’s garage door opening and closing. I didn’t recall seeing anyone enter or leave so I wasn’t sure if this meant that they were home or not. I couldn’t even remember how, or if, I had slept the night before.
