I had agreed to participate in a sit-in protest but I didn’t realize until the day of that it was just me and a friend. It was early in the morning and I was handed a sleeping bag as I entered the room. The two of us sat in silence on the carpet of the large and mostly empty office while a staff member was at their desk in the corner. Before I knew it, hours had passed and they left for their lunch break. It dawned on me that it was the first day of class and I was utterly bored and likely wasting my time. I turned over to my friend to ask if he really intended to stay here the whole day but he was fast asleep.

I got up and headed down the cafeteria on my own and the campus was eerily empty. The canteen was severely understaffed and many of the stands were not operating. I served myself some food from the buffet section. I felt anxious about taking too long to pick out my lunch and the fact that I hadn’t even checked out my class schedule yet.

I was trying to build a Protoss base in the middle of a supermarket but I kept getting interrupted by Bowser. I had to keep picking up the prickly Koopa and dropping him off the far end of the supermarket so that my Nexus could finish warping in. Eventually I warped in some cannons before carrying him away yet again so that I could deter him from attacking the buildings when he crawled back. Eventually I got enough breathing room to start building an army behind the expansion.
