My brother was hosting a party at his new place. It was a minimal, single story, open floor home that had a roof extending over what seemed to be a front yard. A friend was trying to explain a new board game to us that required knowledge of Chinese tongue twisters that went way over my head. The one he provided as an example had something to do with baked breads. There was a group of people playing Apex Legends in VR. They claimed they could identify specific players by the way they ran.

We were walking through the rain forest and wrapping reflective yellow bands around the trunks of trees. We were marking which trees we thought would be suitable to use as supports to tie larger structures on top of.

My visa was expiring on April 19th which meant I needed to take another trip back to Taiwan before I could continue my PR application. I would also have to take a break from work so I logged onto our workplace’s IRC channel. I thought it was strange that people were still online and asking about work in the middle of the night.

I was at a fair and a friend gave me a box of Gunpla as a present.
