I met one of my teachers a few days before the start of the new semester and he told me he was going to take a few days off. He said he needed a few days to sort through all of the garbage that had piled up over the holidays. Plus, he also wanted to test drive his new car.

I was taking a test which presented multiple questions about movies and pop culture. “Social capital is capital”, read the subtitle of the exam. Finally there was an essay question about the importance of “megafauna foundations”. I wrote something about the New York Islam Movement.
