I needed to go to class except when I stepped out of the door I was already on the second floor of my middle school. I didn’t take the time to check the weather before heading out and I was halfway down the stairs when I realized that I was severely overdressed. I stopped by some friends who were chatting by the front gate until I glanced at my watch and saw that I needed to leave immediately if I wanted to arrive on time.

I got onto an undersized scooter bike which was naturally very hard to handle. I tried to take a direct path to my destination which led us down extremely narrow alleyways with uneven brick roads. Eventually the direction we wanted to go was leading into one dead end after another. Apparently we were close by to an animal experimentation facility. A friend said they wanted to save the kitten-dogs if we happened upon them.

Our detour had us navigating up a tight spiral around a narrow structure. When I got to the top, there was an ominous void in place of the doorway which was accompanied by the sound of paws scurrying towards our direction. “It’s time to eat!” a voice within shouted. We rushed back down the way we came as a swarm of barking dogs chased us.
