We were watching a movie featuring a character resembling a mix between Brad Pitt and Ryan Gosling. It had a revenge plot and the opening scene was the main character on the docks in the midst of heavy fog and orange-yellow lighting.

I was trying to complete a particularly annoying sequence in a game to unlock the secret ending. I had to steer a motorboat down a flooded street and avoid the obstacles in the water. We continued talking about the film and someone asked me what the point of one of the characters was supposed to be. I said something about how it was a representation of all the the things the protagnist picked up at the docks at the start of the movie.

At the end of the course was half-submerged car that I needed to climb on top of to get carried away by a large bird.
