My class had just finished and I wasn’t sure where I supposed to go next. The teacher unhelpfully joked that my next class was with them again. I started packing my groceries into my bag which made it very heavy to carry around. I ended up setting my stuff down at an outdoor picnic table. I wasn’t quite sure which notebook take out of my bag before making my way towards the marshy pool.

I waded through the weeds in the wetland until I came across a display in one of the openings. One of the stations was some kind of co-op nature simulator where we had to collectively manage and balance the chemical reactions in our habitats as water fleas. I thought it was pretty interesting but I suddenly realized I probably shouldn’t leave my bag out in the open.

I made my way back to the picnic table which was now populated by a group of children. I hurriedly stuffed my belongings back into my bag but struggled to keep my eyes on everything. My brother asked me if I had any “tantan candy” on me. I said that I didn’t so he left again to go to the asian market.

I made my way once more towards display area in the wetland. The pool of water was about waist height as I pushed through the leaves and branches. I spotted a caterpillar chrysalis as well a large spider web embedded in the tall grasses.
