I was in charge of teaching a photography class to the people in our office. When I walked into the house, someone asked me if I had the equipment necessary for instruction ready. I quickly ducked out and went back to the car to pick up my camera. I stepped out of the car and offhandedly snapped what was supposed to be a test photo but I was so nervous that I didn’t even take the lens cap off.
When I went back to the classroom, I was told that some people had already done their assignment and wanted me to critique them. The photos were frankly not that great. The first photo was of a pillar with vines growing all over it. It was a little underexposed due to being shot in the shade and the lighting was flat. The second picture was one of a church behind some trees but the trees were taking up way too much space in the photo.
