Our daily class schedules were split into two major blocks across the day. My second block of classes was to start at 8:30 PM. I had woken up just in time to bike my way to campus but when I got there, I realized I had forgotten my bike lock key. There was a saddle laying on the ground near the bike racks. I didn’t want to be late so I leaned by bike against the rack and headed into the building.

There must’ve been hundreds of students milling about in the large gymnasium. Someone near the entrance was handing out vouchers for discounts of hundreds of dollars off of an iPhone. However redeeming the discount required one to claim it through Honkai: Star Rail. I politely turned down the offer.

I found an empty seat next to some people I knew through a mutual friend. I listened to them talk about how safe campus was.
