My dad approached me and asked me to help out with an assignment he had for a culinary class that he was taking. I didn’t really feel like I had much of an excuse to turn him down since I wasn’t really doing anything else with my time. He wanted me to do both research and some prep work for a dish to present to class. I started shoveling fried potato wedges from the living floor into my mouth. He and my aunt asked me to stop at which point I stood up and started walking away. I walked along the edge of the rooftop as my body and fingers started to tense up.

I was watching a Tatami Galaxy live action adaptation. On the other screen was an idle base building game that was roughly styled after the aesthetics of Starcraft. There was even a custom map editor that included assets from the two games.
