We were following the twins to their hideout in the cliffs overlooking the city. Getting to the entrance involved getting through many dangerous obstacles high up in the sky. We were crossing a large gap on the monkey bars when one of the sisters lost her grip. Everyone froze in shock as she suddenly let out a yell and fell to the concrete many hundreds of meters below.

We rushed back down to the surface as fast as we could. At first her body wasn’t where I’d remembered seeing her land but rather on the other side of the bushes on the pavement. Miraculously she was still alive and tried to sit up when she heard us coming. I told her not to move and asked for someone to call 911.

Someone gave me their phone and I was hearing a combination of cantonese and english on the other end. I requested an ambulance to be sent over immediately, explaining that someone had just fallen from a great height. They asked about the traffic situation in the area and I told them that we were on a pedestrian path, there were basically no cars around.

I was trying to sleep when a large dog kept coming up to me and pushing their snout into my face. I continued to push them away in a half-awake state until they suddenly bit my thigh. I sat up in anger, unable to go back to sleep.
