I sat down in one of the many rows of plastic seats in preparation for a choir performance that my friend was in. I picked a seat near the middle but later realized there was a large metal grate in the way. I moved a couple of seats to the side but my dad said I was blocking the view behind me.

I walked around the near-abandoned mall looking for good subjects for my photography assignment that was due soon. The building was mostly dark save for a few fluorescent lamps lining the walls. I approached one of the atriums which had a bunch of display cases arranged in the middle under multiple spotlights. Inside one of the main glass boxes was a roast beef sandwich. The display case was a bit too high to get a proper shot of it with my camera. I circled around the case until a class of students came by. They were looking for an appropriate location to race on their pushcars.
