I was heading out of the house when I saw my neighbors and their friend in their pool. They were playing with some kind of substance that allowed them to breathe underwater. They invited me to join them but I turned down their offer as I looked at my phone.

Apparently I had missed the last two weeks of tumblr posts from a friend. I scrolled through the new posts - oblivious to the breakdown that was happening in the garden next door.

It was now late at night and police were all over the place. They said that some children had seen an unfamiliar man near the house earlier today and asked if I knew anything. “Did he do something?” I asked. “I’m going to ask you again, answer like that and you’re going straight to the city” the officer replied.

Apparently they had found the body of the woman in the nearby drainage system. The two men were both missing. The woman was also pregnant. I felt like throwing up. I didn’t know where to start as I had only seen a very small sliver of what happened earlier in the day but I was almost certain that a murder had taken place.

I was in a classroom watching television with some friends. Pop Team Epic was on but my friend wanted to change the channel because he couldn’t get any of the jokes. There was a live action JoJo ED playing.
