I was playing a new Zelda game with a friend but we had trouble getting through one of the earlier shrines. He asked if I still wanted to continue. I flipped open a strategy guide and decided that I at least wanted to finish the temples. The guide had cross sections of all of the dungeons and I noticed most of them had interesting points of verticality.

We approached the area of the Light Temple. Its entrance was hidden somewhere among a projection of a decaying urban landscape. “Wait did you hear that?” I asked. The background track to the stage had hints of the Brawl theme and the Portal radio tune mixed together.
