I had been selected for space travel and I had a boarding pass in hand. There was still some time left until boarding so I headed into one of the many computer rooms down the hall. I started playing a first person shooter game and hit off with one of the other players in the lobby. In a short span of time we had become rather familiar with each other and my parents, who were looking over my shoulder, teased me about us becoming a couple.

The entertainment stations advertised its feature to simultaneously play games while streaming Netflix watch parties at the opposite corner of the screen. Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica were among the featured titles in the ad. I had to leave a game early because it was getting close to the time of departure and I was afraid of being late.

I rushed out of the exit and saw that people were still loading things into the rocket. I saw Elon Musk at the base of the craft and asked when I was supposed to check in. He said that the rocket itself wasn’t even ready for launch yet. I spotted my dad also walking around the premises and inspecting the ship.

I left the port and saw a large crowd of soldiers marching down the road with supplies. All of them were hunched over and walked close to the ground due to the weight of their backpacks. Apparently all of the stores in the local area were sold out of incense because it was being taken to the shuttle. I messaged my friends about the situation on the ground to my friends on Discord because we knew someone currently doing their military service and was probably helping out with the project.
