I was half-asleep on the sofa in some kind of office when it felt like someone was kissing me on the lips. I opened my eyes to see that it was actually the sensation of wind from the fan blowing back and forth into my open mouth.

My friend asked why it was necessary to need a 3D sculpting program to create images with AI. I looked at the night sky behind me and was distracted by a large lit up kite of a skeleton. “what the fuck…” I said under my breath. I turned back around to face the large block of wet clay that was under running water. I answered my friend that some people simply found it therapeutic as I massaged the clay with my hands.

A large crowd had gathered in the center of the banquet hall and in the middle was an older teacher talking about their mahjong theories. They started rambling about occult concepts and I wanted to record it but failed to get my phone out in time.

There was a math class being held around a counter in a kitchen-like area. The professor introduced a problem about comparing the ratings of a collection of videos on a website. The task was to find the ‘closest tie’ between every pair of videos. I had trouble understanding what exactly he wanted us to implement as he ran through a proposed algorithm step by step.

The building started to shake and the lights flickered before going out. By the time they were back on, everyone had dispersed and were taking photos. I got dragged into a group photo for “community members” despite not being familiar with any of the people I was standing next to. I was convinced that they had found the wrong person but they wouldn’t listen.
