I was playing an RPG in a custom map in Starcraft. My character nearly died fighting an Archon miniboss that was right next to a waypoint and I had to retreat to a nearby town. The Terran forces around the base made quick work of the enemy. One of the billboards on the cliff had an ad for a gym called “WD Workout” which made use of a light blue and yellow color scheme for its graphic design.

I was pacing around the room as I talked to my dad about my (lack of) plans for what to do in Canada. I expressed my anxieties around salary negotiation as it was not something I felt comfortable doing. He suggested that if it really was an issue then I should simply take whatever they offer despite other people suggesting otherwise.

We were watching an old anime from around the turn of the millennium. I took out my phone and searched up some information about the show. Despite being released in 1999 and missing the titular character, the anime was actually a prequel to the Haruhi series.
