I was watching my friends play against each other in Smash Brothers. They were talking about an upcoming tournament and how one of them had taken in a new apprentice in Smash.

I was watching a streamer decorating his Path of Exile hideout while he was talking about the future of his streaming career.

I had decided to take an extra year despite having already completed my graduation requirements. It was now the last week of that final year. My first class of the day was a statistics class and I was thinking about an project due Friday that I had not started yet. I realized that Friday was actually tomorrow and started to feel sick.

Class hadn’t started yet so I headed towards the restroom to brush my teeth. The inside of the restroom was lit with red and green spotlights and there was a line for the sink. Further down the room, there was a large pane of glass with blue light emanating from it. I walked over to the glass to see that it was a side of the swimming pool that also doubled as an aquarium for various fish.
