I was playing Apex Legends in the morning because there was a new patch. I was playing as Pathfinder with some friends from high school.

It was also the day that our family was moving into our new home. By the afternoon, I had brought along the “bare essentials” I needed with me in a suitcase to my new room. While I was checking out the house, I saw a screenshot of a new Smash update that released up to 8 new characters to the roster. I asked my friend when this happened but it seemed to be news to him as well.

While I was unpacking, I realized that I had my laptop but had forgotten to pack my power cable. I was considering biking back to our old place but decided to unpack the rest of my stuff first. I had the feeling that dinner was soon but I picked up my backpack and headed downstairs. When I got to the first floor, people were already sitting at the dining table. There were too many plates and chairs around the table for the four of us. Each plate only had a tiny scoop of rice.
