I was playing a Elemental Blade Flurry character in Diablo II when I realized that it was lacking all of the quality of life changes Path of Exile had. I had to reactivate my buffs and resummon my minions in every new zone I walked into. The waypoints were fickle as the window would open and close quickly at every slight twitch of the cursor after clicking them.
After dying, I had finally managed to get back to the endgame zone I was grinding. At this point, someone wanted to take over the game, asking how it played after the main story. I told her that the game simply got harder with an emphasis on boss fights instead of clearing mobs.
I was trying to dodge a certain boss around the corner of a building when my skills got stuck under the door I had closed. The skill bar was an actual object in the game world which meant I couldn’t access them as the door was “in front” of them. A 3D chain effect ran from the corner of my screen to the bottom of the door in a perspective-breaking manner.
