I was laying on the couch at my uncle’s place. My laptop was on so I looked up to make sure I didn’t have anything embarrassing open. It was late in the afternoon and my parents said I should head home first. I got off the couch and walked towards the front door before laying down on the floor by the shoes. I stayed in that position for a while before getting up again and walking out the door.

I decided to take the stairs instead of the elevator, despite being more than 10 floors up. On my way down the stairs, I passed by the car repair shop on the second floor. I walked out of the apartment building without a clear idea on how to get home. I took a left and started walking down the street.

It was getting late now and I could hear music in the distance. I was approaching the urban “Weekend Center” where young people would hang out. I passed by a mobile phone shop which was in the middle of renovation. I walked in however, since there seemed to be some kind of event going on inside. The shop was hosting a children’s activity and one of the organizers was showing off a mouse walking over a rope. A flame was being held under the mouse as it walked across to the other platform. When the mouse reached the end, it was picked up and the two ends of the rope were melted onto its back. The presenter showed off the new “rat necklace”. The children called it ugly. I some photos as evidence and left the shop.

I continued walking down the street and up ahead I saw the source of the music. On the other side of the road was a park which had large LED screens installed along with black cubes toppled along the low walls that were large speakers. People in the park were able to hook up their own music to the system, which blasted across the entire block. I saw someone near the screens from my elementary school but did nothing about it.

I decided I would keep walking until I got to a subway station. At one point I felt that my lower jar had dislocated to the right and my upper molars got stuck behind my lower ones.
