I looked down at my arms to see a rash spreading out from the inside of both of my elbows. The longer I looked, the worse it got as my skin started to boil and pop and the rash spread. The bubbles started becoming more dense as the skin around the crease slowly turned purple.

I walked into the house in a panic, asking anyone for a cure. I was told that this was a symptom of an ancient virus that had recently been released. Someone in the house demonstrated a pressure point behind the left ear which was meant to reduce the effects.

Keeping my finger behind my head and trying not to think about scratching my arms, I walked out of the house with my schoolbag. It was nighttime but I was headed to class. A classmate saw me on the street as I thought about how it was Thursday and I had already skipped a couple days of class this week.
