I stood up from the table, thinking that I should get a fountain drink but changed my mind before I got to the other side of the room. I walked back to the table but had trouble finding my seat because I couldn’t find my bowl. “Didn’t I put my pasta here?” I asked the four or so people already seated. Someone pointed at my bowl that for some reason was in the middle of the table instead of at a seat. Another person reminded my that memory loss was a “sign of hypertension”.
I thought about how I hadn’t slept in a few days. I looked at my phone to see an e-mail from a confused professor in response to an incoherent 2-page paper that I had submitted not long before. I replied with some further nonsense before passing out on the bench.
