Some friends wanted to go to the beach and were trying to wake me up. They eventually left my room for a short moment at which point I got out of bed and went to browse the net. I was reading some development blogs about the art behind some new skins for an Overwatch event. I decided I would hide somewhere in case they came back to check on me in my room.

It was in the early evening when I was still in my room and I could hear the others outside my door. Eventually someone opened the door and saw me sitting in front of my desk. “What are you doing here?” she asked. Apparently they hadn’t gone to the beach and spent the entire day looking for me around campus. I made up an excuse about how I went out to eat and by the time I came back, I didn’t see anyone.

It was the middle of the night when we walked into a mall which despite being empty still had all of the lights turned on.
