After the match was over and people in the seats started to get up, a friend suggested that we go get lunch somewhere that would avoid the crowd. “Lunch?” I asked. I hadn’t really checked what time my flight was today because I had assumed I would be able to take the express shuttle to the airport which was advertised to get the airport in 20 minutes. It wasn’t until I had arrived at the platform that I realized that shuttle access was restricted. I quickly took out my phone to see how long an Uber to DGA would take: around 135 minutes. After realizing that my flight was in approximately three hours, I started to feel a lot more tense. I noticed that I had haphazardly packed my luggage and carry-on. Namely, I had quite a few bottles of liquids in my backpack and my suitcase was in a hard-to-rearrange state. As I looked down, I noticed I wasn’t even dressed properly.
