My aunt was talking about buying a Wii for a relative in Taiwan. My brother said how it might be better to buy a console in Taiwan instead in case of region locked games.

My brother just so happened to have brought his Wii and turned it on. I moved to the corner of the sofa in anticipation of the other cousins standing up to grab a controller. As I thought, the four player slots for Smash Brothers were quickly filled.

Someone asked me if I was jealous and I said no. “Do you want to play?” they then asked. Once again, I said no even though I kind of did want to play. “Look, Clark doesn’t get jealous!” someone said as if trying to make a big deal out of it. I felt my heart sink as I once again pretended to not be interested in something.

My uncle picked out a book aimed at dealing with people who had “non-Christian professions”. He said that he neighbors downstairs might appreciate it.

My uncle, cousin, brother, and I decided that we were going to bring food back home to eat. After picking up our order, we got into two separate cars and drove home. When my brother and I got home, there was so sign of the other car so we decided to wait for the other two. An hour or so passed before I walked upstairs and noticed that they had been back and left before we got home.
