I was walking through the supermarket when I saw my friend cooking in one of the aisles. I looked into the pot of soup he was making and noticed that he didn’t chop any of the vegetables. “Where are we going to eat this?” I asked him, while also noting that most of the seats around us were taken. I overheard someone trying to debate with his parents over their personal lives.
“Is this your rice?” I asked, pointing at a ricepot. He said it was, while fumbling through the drawers in search of a soup spoon. The soup was ready and I thought I would help out by simply pouring the soup out into a bowl. That turned out to be a bad idea as I spilled soup all over the countertop.
I quickly cleaned up using some nearby napkins and went in search for a trashcan. I asked a man in a business suit who was playing Hearthstone on his phone to move aside so I could throw away the trash. When I finally got him to move, I realized that I had mistaken the hood of his hoodie for a trashcan.
