I was about to head out to class in the morning while my mother was talking to my niece. She finally managed to talk for the first time and repeated after my mother whenever she said “可以呀” or “怎麼樣”.

I decided to stay in the classroom to finish up some work before my next class in the afternoon. Before I knew it, the professor I had my morning class with walked back into the room. “You’ve been here for the last five hours?” he asked. I looked at the clock and realized that my last class ended five hours ago. “I guess so…” I said.
I decided it was probably time to get to the next class so I packed up my things to head out. No matter how many times I walked up and down the hall, I couldn’t seem to find the right room. I checked my schedule multiple times until I realized that the rooms for my classes changed by the week. This week, the room was 111.
I walked into the classroom and quickly found a seat. A friend called out to me to sit next to him despite the fact that there were no empty seats around. The person to the right of him had a layer of soil on their desk, along with sprouts growing out.
Someone was holding a baby at the front of the room, whose face was a unhealthy blue. The lady holding her was asking for us to donate blood if we bled blue. “How would we know that?” I asked. She simply pointed to someone sitting on the other side of the room whose forehead looked like it had been heavily bruised.
Before I knew it, the lady jammed a syringe into my right arm to extract my blood. When the needle came out, I felt like I was going to faint.
