I met the man in the middle of the busy square but for some reason I couldn’t understand a word he was saying. I kept asking him to repeat himself up until the point where it felt like he was trying to say goodbye. I awkwardly started to say goodbye as well without really know what was going on.

We were soaked from the pouring rain when we walked into the school building. She was trying to look for a specific classroom but eventually gave up when we got the other end of the winding hall. We stepped outside to run back to the car. My brother was still in the supermarket.

We were playing a trivia game in the car and she asked which airport in the world had the least amount of English speakers. Apparently it was in Denmark, which also had the least tourist-friendly airport. I looked out the window to see mountains of checked-in luggage being transported via conveyor belts.
