I was watching an anime with a group of friends and was questioning one of them why in the world they would prefer the dub for a series filled with Japanese pop culture references. He wouldn’t give me a straight answer.

During an episode the stream froze so I refreshed the page. However we were no longer able to find what episode we were on. It didn’t help that the series by nature was not chronological.
