Everyone was reveling in the fact that tomorrow was the first day of Renn Fayre but I only felt fear, for it meant that today was the last day to work on my thesis. I tried to avoid having a panic attack on the spot.

I just woke up and opened up Snapchat to see a friend post an extremely long story. Apparently in the span of a day, she had driven up to Vancouver to get breast implants and later on went bike riding in Taiwan. While the caption claimed that she was in Taiwan, the location actually resembled the area around my middle school home in Guangzhou. Furthermore, it was an aerial shot and the video looked as if it was taken by a drone rather than a person. All of the videos had this blue bloom effect going on in the middle of the shot.
