I was playing with a remote control car around the pool. It was a small pick-up truck named the Mars on Rover. “In you go” I said, as I used the car to push what looked like model sailboat into the pool. Not only did I misjudge what it was that I was pushing, I also misjudged how far the car went and they both sank to the bottom.
My friend turned to me with a look that he was expecting me to do something about what had just happened. I had no desire to go into the water myself so I started searching for tools to help fish out the vehicles. I wondered if the batteries were waterproof.
It was around this time that I became lucid. I turned away from the pool and when I looked back the pool was now surrounded by grass instead of tiles. I closed my eyes and willed the pool into a patch of grass. I then pulled up the cars with my mind, which left them half-buried in the dirt. “That was easy” I thought as I walked down the hill to a neighbor’s backyard.
