There was going to be a major Minecraft update tomorrow that changed some fundamental mechanics of the game. The restructuring of the code was going to be so major that nothing that had been previously made would be carried over to the new version. There was no point in making anything.

I found myself floating upwards, only held down by my toes hooking onto the roof of a watchtower. “How do I get down from here?” I asked, hoping that someone below would hear me. A voice from below told me to ask the admin.

“Where?” I asked.

“Somewhere over there” they said.

I wasn’t strong enough to drag myself down.

I asked someone why everyone was eager to eat beans with whatever was about to be thrown out. Apparently they went with everything.
