I was trying to sweep up all of the chocolate shavings off the table. “What if the word ‘horse’ meant something else?” someone asked.

No one responded. I continued to scoop up the chocolate. He kept repeating the question and it wasn’t until the third time that someone told him that it was “an uninteresting question”.

“Words change meanings all the time. Literally.” I added. Perhaps it was a little harsh of us but we said that was the reason why we ignored the question at first.
