It was just a regular trip to the convenience store and I got a pair of pants and a can of ground coffee, despite the fact that I didn’t consume caffeine. I put my dirty laundry in the basket as well and when I got to the cashier, I had to sort everything again.

“Do you want to try on those pants?” they asked while pointing to the changing room. I headed over the the mirror with the pants as well as my wallet and a belt. I quickly discovered that the pants were too long.

“Do you want your eggs hard or soft?” they asked across the room. I said soft, with the assumption that it meant scrambled.
