He wanted to show us a new trick which involved shooting a beer bottle as he flipped it upwards. We were in a hotel room. So even through most of the shots weren’t connecting, we were making a mess anyways with broken glass all over the bed and carpet. And throughout this whole time, he had been trying to film himself with a camera in his hand.

I eventually couldn’t bear to watch his fumbling so I asked for the camera and requested that he only throw one bottle at a time instead of two. I noticed that from this angle, the bottle barely registered on the screen.

When we walked out onto the street, we saw a crowd of people loitering by the entrance, waiting for the shooting noises to stop.
