My parents were already up when I woke up in the middle of the street. They were trying to take photos that matched up with the ones they took a few years ago. My camera was built into my eyes, I simply had to blink harder than normal to snap a photo. Additionally, I was able to see a faint outline of the previous photo, allowing me to line up my shot.
We walked further up the street until we settled in an alcove on the inside corner of a concrete office building. We could hear the people who were walking past as particularly clearly and found out the it was due to the echo from the corner of the wall.
I looked into the window which led into basement room. The shades suddenly opened and George W Bush looked back at us. I froze for a moment, looking at Obama to my left and wondering if I should be introducing them to each other.
I moved on to the next window instead. I saw several boxes of Ziploc bags on the dining table as well as a teddy bear on the floor. It looked like someone was in the process of moving in.

We were playing a Pokemon action game and I said that the Snorlax was doing what my friend did best. “What?” he asked.
“Tanking and regaining health”, I replied.
He went silent.
“Does no one else feel this dynamic?” he asked and proceeded to accuse me that I was making fun of his weight. I wasn’t sure how to respond to that as the game came to a halt.

I poured the bags of gelatinous growths into a pool of water made with cardboard. I couldn’t tell if the jelly was growing any larger when my dad suggested that I probably put in too many for the amount of water in the pool. I looked across the water to see that the cardboard wall on the other side had been leaking when my father couldn’t bear to watch any longer. He asked why I didn’t just read the directions, like I usually do, to figure out what’s going wrong.
I meekly said it was because the directions were written in Chinese and couldn’t read them.
