We were playing a game that revolved around a group of friends during a unidentified viral outbreak in the city. We were playing a route where the main heroine dies in a train accident rather early in the game. A group had found refuge underground and we were now making our way towards them. We took a shot of drugs to the abdomen.

Since we were still near the beginning of the game, I suggested that we start over. “The game kind of seems incomplete without her”, I commented, pointing to the awkward or sometimes missing dialogue options. We laughed at how we already forgot what her name was.
