It was Friday and I had just finished my only class of the day. It was so early in the morning that it was still dark out. Various partially erased portraits of clowns were on the chalkboard. Some students were asking someone how they had managed to book a band to come to our campus. “Just do it early” was their answer.

I grabbed the last banana on the table, it was an offering from our professor for the students who managed to drag themselves out of bed this early. However, I dropped it the moment I saw another student expressing interest in taking the banana. I decided to opt for the oblong citrus looking fruit. I figured it was a misshapen pomelo.

I walked out of the classroom to see the the desks arranged in a U-shape in the hallway. Someone was sitting right outside the door, playing various space-related games on their laptop, one of which was Stellaris.
