We ran through the underground mall looking for an exit. We vaguely recalled coming down by elevator across from a coffee shop but were unable to locate said cafe. We kept moving forwards until we found ourselves in the parking lot and met some other people who were lost down here. I suggested that we should probably turn back as this area seemed unfamiliar. “Oh shit”, one of our group members said. “What?” I asked.
He reasoned that “pick[ing] up unnecessary people” into our party was going to have “consequences”. I caught a quick glance at the mall’s mascot, a cartoon zombie statue sponsored by “DeadAway Toy Company”. The concrete below us started to rumble. Everyone broke out into a sprint without really knowing what was happening. Just when I was getting out of breath I realized that the entire mall was rolling into itself.

There were Chinese New Year decorations all around campus and there was going to be a fireworks show tonight. I ran through the residential area before finding myself on the great lawn. I walked towards what seemed to be a one-man concert taking place on the square sheet of metal. I had to swap into rubber shoes because the metal plate was actually electrically charged. Unfortunately this meant that I was unable to communicate with the man dancing in the middle because I couldn’t simultaneously wear the shoes and my translator.
