They were playing what seemed to be a card game on the counter with CDs. The game had card-stealing mechanics where a player was able to draw cards from the other person’s deck. The two people playing seemed bored while an observer started revealing information about what each person was holding in their hands. I told them to cut it out but they insisted that they had no obligation to stop as the rules didn’t explicitly prohibit them from doing so.

We were flipping through a book to find what the average temperature was in the morning in our region at this time of year. We wanted to know what to expect from the breeze through the open window when we woke up. Someone said that “like air conditioning, how the wind blows into the room changes a lot.”
