My flight was due to depart later in the afternoon and I was in a hurry to pack up my suitcase. However, not only were my socks still in the washing machine, I had never even fully unpacked my luggage since I arrived home. I obtained a new pair of glasses which had bendy arms that extended all the way around the head to the opposite ears. “You already have so many”, someone commented when in fact none of the other two pairs of glasses that were scattered about my room actually belonged to me.

I saw someone playing TF2 on the computer and it seemed like a new Medic update had been released. It didn’t take long until the graphics started glitching up on the screen.

Class had convened at an underground cellar and we were reading stories off of a phone app. Each of these short stories introduced a person that lived down here except for a small group of reclusive individuals.

I told an old friend about Starcraft now being free and its upcoming remaster. He seemed excited to hear the news.

We thought how terribly mature of a six year old it was to be able to tease and embarrass their parents in public but to still be able to affirm their love and gratitude for them in private.
