I was walking through the newly built shopping mall on Mars. We had been sent here from our headquarters for a routine inspection and investigate any suspicious activity. We stood on a glass floor and could see the terraced street below us. As we walked by the elevator, I saw that there were 175 floors of apartments within the building. I thought about living here one day.
When we had revealed ourselves as inspectors, someone simply told us “good luck trying to see everything”. We walked through the fire doors into the seemingly vacant mall. I spotted a couple downstairs but otherwise not a single shopper was in sight.
As we wandered though the shops, doors started closing and locking at random. At first we though nothing of it, going so far as to disregard someone’s information about what the password was to get through the door we came in from. It was only when the door right in front of us had closed that we started to fear that we might get locked inside. We ran.
We ran, not knowing why the doors were being locked, or why no one else was here. It was only when we got back that we were informed of temporary quarantines were being employed throughout the mall to prevent contact with a certain alien creature that would peel and kiss away the skin of unsuspecting humans. “England is such a dangerous place”, I thought.

We were on a tour bus that was driving up the coast but we weren’t stopping at any of the tourist locations. I was holding a plastic container which resembled a bubble bottle. However, instead of containing soapy water inside, it was filled with powder that claimed to be able to turn any liquid into drinkable water when thoroughly mixed.
