We were celebrating some kind of special event and my brother bought takeout lunchboxes for everyone. I didn’t eat mine, thinking that we were going to eat together at some point during the evening. It was already late at night before I asked when we were eating and they said “eat when you want”.

“Oh, that’s it?” I thought to myself. I didn’t even get to see my brother yet.

I was watching someone play Heroes of the Storm and saw a Jaina cast Ice Nova, which also froze ally towers. I snapped out a shard of ice which looked like a petal and held it in my hand. I walked into the kitchen before realizing that I had cut my finger on the edges of what now felt more like glass.

My uncle was looking for a long lost stick of butter as well as a pair of leather gloves he remembered leaving behind at our house.
