We were at the bottom of the pit at King’s Row. There was a platform on a pulley and seemed to go up forever. I was unsure if it would carry us back up to the surface. Two Mercys were flying up and down in an attempt to escape.

I was playing a flash game for someone and one of the objectives involved locating a penny in someone’s glass.

“Is the city tall enough?” My mother asked. “For what?” I replied, “I mean, I guess so.”

“But someone else said no.”

I was confused, as I had no idea what she was talking about. I drew a diagram of the pit we were in and the height of the buildings in the underground city. There were in a sense “tall enough”.
